Works mainly with larger sculptures and installations but also with sound and moving images, for example in sound installations.

The works are often interactive in some way. It can be a mechanical crank or a house to enter. Lännerström is interested in natural or recycled materials. Installations are built from demolition wood and the super8 film is developed in instant coffee. Sara Lännerström has exhibited in Amsterdam, at art galleries in Gothenburg, Luleå and Kungsbacka and is represented at Göteborgs Konst.
