CECILIA LAGERSTRÖM

Cecilia Lagerström works as a director, researcher, and professor in scenic design at the University of Gothenburg’s School of Theatre and Music. Cecilia has directed productions and performance acts in theaters and other venues for a long time and has conducted artistic development and research projects. Since 2005, she has been active in the development of artistic research in the field of theater in Sweden. Her artistic practice moves between theater, performance, and artistic research.

KRISTIN RODES

Kristin Rodes’ work revolves around the Clown. Kristin seeks and develops new thoughts and ideas about what the Clown can be today, mainly moving between three areas: (1) Exploring through the creation of solo works, writing essays/texts, and an investigation of the Clown in relation to history, our contemporary society, and the future. (2) As a Clown in hospitals, in the Clown Clinic since 2021, and performances in two constellations clownkonstNU/clown frequencies as well as improvised appearances in various contexts. (3) Conducting workshops to discover/reveal each person’s unique Clown, for both beginners and experienced individuals, as well as serving as a director/external eye/sounding board for stage/dance/circus productions.

OLA KARLBERG

Ola Karlberg has been on stages throughout the country and Europe for 40 years. He performs for both children and adults. The children’s audience usually sits down, but the adult audience can be both seated and dancing. In addition to performing on stages, he sits on the side to write and translate songs, poems, and scripts. When he’s on stage, it usually involves singing, playing a woodwind instrument, acting, and occasionally taking a small dance step. A performing artist.

FIA ADLER SANDBLAD

Fia Adler Sandblad has been running ADAS teater since 1993. With explorative strategies, she creates theater with the meeting between actors and the audience at its center. Stories and bodies missing in the theater are brought forward with the understanding that art can be healing and therapeutic in a world of trauma and conflicts. The work is situated in the tragicomic, where collisions and discrepancies become openings to deeper insights. The focus is on inclusive and sustainable perspectives based on physical and vocal expression.
