Ewa was educated at the Valand Academy of Fine Arts during the first half of the 1980s.

She has been active as an artist since 1985 and primarily works with painting. She has completed public commissions for the Public Art Agency Sweden, the City of Gothenburg, and the Västra Götaland Region. Her work is represented in the collections of the Gothenburg Museum of Art, the Stena Olsson Foundation Collection, the Public Art Agency Sweden, and the Västra Götaland Region. She has teaching experience from, among others, the Valand Academy and the School of Design and Crafts at the University of Gothenburg.
