Ryan Denner creates surreal representations of three synonymous forces; the internet, religion and the self, through medium format photography and collage. He is currently working on his multi-year project ‘City of Churches’, which explores religious iconography in Australia, South Korea, and (soon) Sweden.

Based in Kaurna, Australia, Denner has exhibited in several galleries and many foyers. In search of a connection to community and culture, he has spent most of the last few years photographing religious places, icons and moments of divine intervention.
