Mona Wallström is a jewelry artist educated at HDK, based in Gothenburg. Her artistic work spans visual art, photography, and art jewelry. Wallström has exhibited both in Sweden and internationally, and her work is represented at Nationalmuseum and the Röhsska Museum.
Her practice is primarily conducted through thematic projects using a variety of materials and media. In the project Fallen Hair, drawing, essay, and jewelry made from fallen hair are combined. In Tree Spirits, the significance of the forest is explored through brooches mounted on twigs and executed with rayon embroidery.
