Christin Wahlström Eriksson & Berglind Jóna Hlynsdóttir

Earlier this spring Konstepidemin announced an Open Call for Icelandic artists, Nordic Match F.I.L 2020: Island, to come for three months recidency at Konstepidemin and collaborate with a locally based artist for an exhibition at the Konstepidemin gallery.

We are very happy to announce that the selected artist is Berglind Jóna Hlynsdóttir, living and working in Reykjavík. She has been paired with Gothenburg-based artist Christin Wahlström Eriksson. The joint exhibition is opening October 2020.

The Nordic Match F.I.L. is a three year long project inviting an artist from Finland, Lithuania and Iceland. Previous duos have been Anssi Pulkkinen (FIN) & Azadeh Zaghi (SWE), Goda Palekaitė (LTU) and Annika Lundgren (SWE). The project is financed by Nordic Culture Point.
