Erik works with textile and have a masters in textile art from HDK-Valand, Göteborgs universitet, where he did a bachelor and-masterprogram from 2017-2022. He had his first exhibition 2008 and have since then exhibited once or twice per year, at places like Gotlands konstmuseum, Rydals museum och på Mora kulturhus.

For many years Erik worked with textiles at a fiber level, with different kinds of feltmaking, handspinning and colouring. During his studies he focused on the textile picture through screenprinting and digital jacquardweaving. Erik’s artistic interest spans from repetition and dissolution. He often works with pictures that are torn, that brake or that disappear in the far mist.
