I write and make performances mostly. I am currently pursuing a PhD in Performance Practices at Gothenburg University, Sweden.
My work touches upon Cold War political strategies in the West (especially in Finland), speculative re-readings of archives, and family abolitionism; all of this takes place on an empty stage.
Her visual works have been shown at e.g. Assembly Point, London, and Babycastles, New York. Her writing has appeared in DIS magazine, AQNB, as well as in exhibition catalogs and art & academic publications, both in Finland and internationally. Onstage, she creates temporary sites of thinking differently, or reprieves from “the crisis ordinary”, following Lauren Berlant.
