I am a Finnish journalist especially interested in writing about culture and social issues. Right now I work as a freelance writer.

Recently I have written articles for magazines Suomen Kuvalehti (suomenkuvalehti.fi), Raymond (raymond.fi) and Noste (nosteessa.fi). I have previously worked for example at Helsingin Sanomat, the main daily newspaper in Finland, and Ylioppilaslehti, the main student magazine in Finland.

I studied at University of Helsinki and hold a Master’s degree in social sciences. I had media studies as my major subject. Minor subjects were political science and visual journalism (latter at University of Art and Design Helsinki). During autumn 2013 I studied at Master Course in Culture Journalism organized by Finnish Cultural Foundation.

In Gothenburg I will focus on exploring local art and media. I can work in Swedish and would like to get to know artists and journalists here in order to cooperate. I am interested in new kinds of online magazines and cooperation between journalists, artists, researchers and the third sector.
