Our winter open call invites artists of all backgrounds, styles, and mediums to experience the beauty of winter at Konstepidemin. Whether you specialize in painting, sculpture, photography, digital art, or any other medium, we welcome your application.

Submission Guidelines

• Artists must propose a project for their stay at Konstepidemin.
• Submissions can be in any medium, but please ensure they are suitable for online display.
• Include a concise artist statement (maximum 150 words).
• Complete the form at the bottom of this page.
• Upload a portfolio PDF with 4-8 work samples.
• Upload your CV.

Important Information for Guest Artists

As a guest artist, you will live and work in a studio equipped with a separate workroom, bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen. The monthly rent is 8000 SEK (7500 SEK for Studio Robert), which includes heating, water, and wireless WIFI. You can bring guests at no extra cost, up to a maximum of three people per studio. All guest studios come with basic kitchen equipment, bedding, and towels. Laundry facilities are available on-site, and smoking is prohibited in all guest studios. Please inquire about bringing animals.

Guest artists also have access to a copier/printer/scanner and a graphics workshop in the area. We collaborate with Göteborgs bildverkstad, where guest artists can print in larger formats, use photo and video editing stations, and borrow equipment.

We actively engage our visiting artists in public contexts by arranging open studios, workshops, and artist talks to foster conversations and embrace a diversity of artistic positions.
