Anna Wieselgren studied art at the New York Studio School in New York, completed her undergraduate studies at Emily Carr University of Art + Design in Vancouver and earned an MFA from the Slade School of Fine Art in London, England. She has participated in residency programs at Skowhegan School of Painting & Sculpture and Chisenhale Dance Space in London, England. Wieselgren is the recipient of numerous grants and awards for her work including several artist grants from the Ontario Arts Council, a fellowship from the Skowhegan School of Painting & Sculpture and a Commonwealth Scholarship from the British Council.
