Dragans artistic research became centered around performance, art action, installation, photography, video, and space intervention. Often, he would combine these mediums, creating a multimedia dialogue that allowed him to push the boundaries of expression. Through my dedication to art, he found a sense of balance and fulfillment.

For Dragan, art is a powerful form of communication—an avenue through which messages can be transmitted. Influenced by the themes of exile and nomadism, my artistic process became deeply intertwined with these concepts. As a result, many of his works explore issues related to exile, social dynamics, environmental concerns, as well as personal and art-related subjects.

Over the years, Dragan Vojvodić has been the recipient of numerous research grants and residency projects, including EU Japan Fest in Tokyo, ECoC Novi Sad 2021, Kizuna grant, University of Illinois in Chicago, SIM House in Reykjavik (Iceland), USF Bergen (Norway), University of Illinois in Chicago (USA), Cité des Arts in Paris (France), Sumu residence at Titanik gallery in Turku (Finland), Kamov residency at the Museum of Contemporary Art Rijeka (Croatia), Koli residency in Joensuu (Finland), Konstepidemin in Gothenburg (Sweden), and NCCA St. Petersburg (Russia), among others.

His work has been exhibited internationally, representing Serbia and Vojvodina in exhibitions in Japan, Iceland, France, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Czech Republic, Romania, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and more.
