The Sound We See: A Göteborg City Symphony
In November resident artists Lisa Marr, Paolo Davanzo and artist/filmmaker Maria Magnusson are inviting people of all ages and backgrounds to make a film about Gothenburg. The workshop is free of charge and will take place at Konstpidemin and Göteborgs konstskola.
Call for Participants
The Sound We See is a global community cinema project that invites individuals of all ages and backgrounds to share a vision of their city on analogue film. In November 2016, The Sound We See comes to Göteborg for a one-month workshop open to 24 participants of all ages. No previous filmmaking experience necessary! Participants will make a collaborative 24-minute handmade film using Super 8 cameras and eco-friendly film developer. The finished film is shared with the public at screenings around the world.
The workshop will be held in English with instructors Paolo Davanzo and Lisa Marr from Echo Park Film Center, Los Angeles and Goteborg filmmaker Maria Magnusson. Interested in joining the fun? Apply by writing one or two sentences about why you want to participate in the workshop.
