Konstepidemins guest artist Isaji Yugo will make an online talk with Hong Kong based artist Lee Kai Chung on Friday March 13th.

”Recently the news from Hong Kong has decreased. What happens now after the last election there? The last movement seems quite different from the ”Umbrella Movement” 2014, especially in the strategy. Lee Kai Chung joined the demonstration. I would like to make time to share his experiences.

Lee Kai Chung have made researching projects about the war crimes of Japan last year and hes makes films. His works spotlighted unnamed people and also succeeded to create original and universal stories. It was a contrast against historical revisionists in Japan. I wonder is it possible to share his stories with them. How the arts will step across the border of a divided world?”
