Overcooked
— Klara Lord

På svenska

Welcome to a solo exhibition in Konsthantverkscentrum’s new venue at Konstepidemin. In the members’ exhibition, Overcooked by Klara Lord, she presents works crafted from repurposed ceramics and ceramic waste.

Experience a playful mixture of cheesy meltdowns, wall-mounted lasagna dishes, tile sandwiches, rising forms, tier cakes, and flowing glazes. The title references both the physical ceramic process of over-firing and humanity’s climate impact, exploring the paradox of wanting to have our cake and eat it too.

Klara Lord

Klara Lord (b. 1982) is an artist and ceramicist based in Gothenburg. She earned her Master’s degree in Ceramic Art from HDK-Valand in 2024. Working with ceramic waste, repurposed materials, and experimental glazing, she creates sculptures and installations that explore consumption patterns, desire, and sustainability. Through the ceramic process, she transforms everyday objects into surreal visions to highlight the attitudes and systems that govern our use of Earth’s resources.

In English
