Up to now, Artūras has published five poetry books, one poetry anthology and e-book of short essays. Valionis’ poems have been translated into 14 languages. His second poetry book “Approximately Three” was announced in Lithuania “The Poetry Book of 2013”. In 2019, Artūras received Vilnius Mayor Prize for his poetry books published in 2015 and 2018 and for his artistic activity (as it was expressed by the Mayor, “for the music in poetry and for the poetry in music”). The poet is constantly looking for new forms of poetic expression and collaboration, he initiates and participates in joint projects with jazz musicians and performers of academic music.
