12: 00-14:00 City walk in the Backaplan area: Training session ”Collective imaginations for one day” / eeefff
”The session of eeefff is the interweaving of technological infrastructures with infrastructures of collective imaginations. In our orbit there will be time DJing, training with limited emotional resources, growing unprofitable and impractical communication skills, playing with decomposition of interfaces and protocols, different topologies of time, affecting creative industries. ”

eeefff is a collaboration of two people, Nicolay Spesivtsev (artist, computer scientist, researcher) and Dzina Zhuk (writer, artist). Active from 2013. Based in Moscow.

eeefff is working with emotional effects of the new economic regimes driven by computation, materiality of sensibility, affects within creative industries, frictions between user interfaces and protocols, test settings for collective imaginaries.
The methods of eeefff are: making public actions and situations, online interventions, performative seminars, software and hardware hacks, framing environments and settings.

Talks with eeefff and presentation of the exhibition Heritagization: How Art and Activism can make Heritage. Cases from Belarus and Sweden

Heritagization: Claiming Heritage, by interpreting and angling the past: cultural heritage, family history, the nation’s history. The phenomenon includes all of us, at the micro and macro levels. Museums take care of their collections and make their selections. Political parties are protecting their own version of, for example, ”the nation’s cultural heritage” and may want to establish a cultural canon. And at the individual level, we work consciously or unconsciously on our own history, interpreting and reinterpreting it.

In this project, a group of Swedish and Belarusian researchers in the cultural field focuses on different forms of these processes by showing alternative forms of Heritagization, individually or collectively, through art or through public space activities.
