“Today I work without preconditions; the work process and impulse are allowed to steer. It is about people. Some kind of narrative exists. Beyond that, I don’t really know. I enjoy the paint, I wrestle with the form, and the subject flies freely, seeking its landing points where a sense of wholeness seems possible.”
