Vojvodics work represents personal aspect of the process of transition from socialism to capitalism in the Balkan region, which began during the course of the war in the 90s (20th century) and is still an ongoing process. This process is not exercised in favor of the social needs of the majority and it is routed by political manipulation, committed war crimes and the extreme terror as a means and a medium of robbing the population, and appropriating socially-owned property to satisfy the interests of the newly created political and economic elite. In this process, which allegedly carried out in the name of nation and country individual becomes victim. Dragan Vojvodic’s aim is to present some cultural and political aspects and crises of its values of an era preceding that process of transition. In that since there are important analogies to be research in the intellectual, economic and ethical urban landscapes of the Balkan region.

During his artist-in-residence project at Konstepidemin his goal is to produce an exhibitionthat is used for lecture performance and discussion. It will be consist of materials that relate to his research: different kind of documents, videos, photos, performance and in-city intervention that will be continually on-line updated and linked during and after exhibition.
