Conglan is primarily focused on calligraphy, traditional Chinese painting, and the study of meticulous flower-bird paintings from the Song Dynasty. She is currently employed at Tianhua College of Shanghai Normal University and is a member of both the China Women’s Painting Association and the Shanghai Artists Association.

Having studied Meticulous Flower-bird Painting during the Song Dynasty, she has retained the essence of traditional Chinese paintings. By inheriting the unique techniques of Meticulous Painting in the Song Dynasty, she depicts modern life in a manner that is both authentic and innovative. Her paintings are replete with her unique perspective, employing simple and elegant colors to evoke an emotional response from the viewer and effectively conveying her feelings as well. Her works exemplify the seamless integration of traditional techniques with modern life.
