My name is Daryna Pohonych. I am a photographer with more than five years of experience in this field. I was forced to come to Sweden because of the war in Ukraine.

I would like to use this time to tell the story of Ukrainians who were forced to leave their homes due to the war and come to Sweden. I also want to tell the story of those Ukrainian citizens of Sweden who live and work here, and have done so for a long time but who have relatives in Ukraine. I want to tell the story of  those who still can’t recover, don’t want to recover and those who feel they can’t do anything… Every story is special and tragic.
