” I will set up a three week installation in Gothenburg with the material that I create at Not Quite. This is an interactive exhibit that aims to create an environment where visitors use the devices that I make. Interactive Acoustical Sound Sculptures are the focus of my artistic practice. Exploring relational situations and interpersonal communication is fascinating for me. The piece that I propose for Bergrummet consists of a few acoustical sound mediating devices that are actuated by the simultaneous use of visitors. When engaged, my objects mechanically transfer the energy of users´ balance and movements into auditory signals. Interactive motions actuate layers of sound and rhythm that compose a unique event created by those present. The piece is a communicational instrument that invites users’ creativity to activate a dialog with interaction and sound.I will bring in a series of Gothenburg performance artists and students to visit Konstepidemin over the three week exhibition. This will consist of musicians, composers and some working with body and movement. My intention of the visits is to initiate interdisciplinary collaboration with a focus on working with space, objects, and visitor interaction. First, I will try to generate some activity in the initial installation in Gothenburg, and then work towards an event at Not Quite in Fengersfors bruket.”
