Artistic Practice and Social Change – Observations from Belarus and Sweden
Book Release
During an exchange between Sweden and Belarus, driven by Konstepidemin in Gothenburg and Kryly Khalopa in Brest, the authors contributed materials with different perspectives on the artist’s role in the social change. Included articles and art works are based on the authors’ own practices and experiences. They reflect current conditions and possibilities for the artists and their practice. The book is published by Konstepidemin Förlag.

After the book release, it is the vernissage of the exhibition STATUS – Artistic Practice and Social Change
Under ett utbyte mellan Sverige och Belarus som drivits av Konstepidemin och Kryly Chalopa i Brest har konstnärer bidragit med olika perspektiv på konstnärens roll i samhällsförändringen. I boken utgiven av Konstepidemin Förlag deltar konstnärer med artiklar och verk som utgår från deras egna praktiker och erfarenheter och ger reflektioner över konstnärens och konstens villkor och möjligheter.
