Background information:
Patricia’s ongoing movement research is about to find ”Original Positions”. This refers to the ‘peace-on-earth’ concept and the promise of happiness where she sees the original position as a hypothetical position designed to accurately reflect what principles of justice would be manifest in a society premised on free and fair cooperation between citizens. To find the Original Position she has discovered that depriving of information and wearing a ‘veil of ignorance’ are conditions to get her to that state. Awareness exercises serve to accomplish the condition to become blank and to go to point zeros. Point zeros are the moments just before an action, before a change occurs. In her movement practice this shows in spending time in non-movement from deep muscular relaxation, observing the first attentive motion to occur.

In 2016/17 she has deepened her interest in the movement qualities of the method and philosophy of Yin Yoga. She has attended a teacher training and has been certified to teach Yin. This knowledge she wants to share and accumulate.

The main quality of Yin Yoga is the training of the joints, how to execute the exercising of the tissues within the joints. The material of these tissues has another consistency then muscular tissues, therefor they should be treated differently.

Another important quality of Yin is to explore the possibility to move on the level of the connective/myofascial tissue. There is a possibility to move on this level.

If I put my attention on this myofascial level I am able to connect more easily with my point zeros and original position. I can see now where the intention of a movement derives from and where it is eager to expand to. This internal motion also means mental state changes and opportunities for other synapse connections.

How and can you exercise the joints? And why would you do that?
How can one use one’s breath, how does one breathe?
How do shapes effects breathing and the state of being?
How does one experience gravity deep within the body, by noticing detailed and small shifting of shape?
How does one handle its own body in pressure and stress?
How does one find one’s boundaries physically and mentally and how to safely expand these edges?
