SPATIAL FIVE is an artist collective working within the fields of sculpture, installation, and mixed media. The group’s practice is rooted in various craft traditions, drawing attention to boundaries as fluid matter where bodies, materials, beliefs, and territories meet, erode, and are reshaped. Through porous dividing lines and fragile seams, their work explores how boundaries both separate and unite.

The collective consists of Isa Eriksson, Adam Kajander, Samira Khoshbakht Bahremany, Helena Lundahl, and Shiyao Sun.

At the seam between sea and sky, boundaries dissolve. Textiles, copper, clay, paper, and jewelry trace that which once sank and now shines through its absence—tracing memories and that which dwells within fragile transformations.

In this space, time behaves differently. Surfaces and movements gather and bind themselves wordlessly outward—in relational spaces—in states of limbo where collisions softly and persistently emerge in the present.

Craft Days

The Craft Days Biennial aims to highlight, strengthen, and increase the visibility of the contemporary craft field in the Västra Götaland region. The event premiered in 2021 and is organised by Konsthantverkscentrum in collaboration with Konstepidemin, the Swedish School of Textiles, Form & Folk, Not Quite, and the Röhsska Museum. Craft Days 2026 at Konstepidemin will take place on 8–10 May, with support from Västra Götalandsregionen, IASPIS, Statens Kulturråd, Form & Folk and ABF Göteborg.
