Besser blocked sunlight
a jogging power walker
wide legs, swinging arms
active wear
micro plastic
litter the shore
a week of easterlies
on everyones tongue
I drive a few blocks and pause to write
A kinks song in French, a sports car indicates
Wild patches of trees meet manicured lawn
how many thousands of bodies
minds
sat below these branches
Koolbardi hour
gather on sun faded grass
golden hour
architectural boxes unwanted
imprint my memory
besser blocked sunlight
fill the gaps of silence
filling gaps of silence
with idle monologues
mining company sponsored
corruption blind
shadows extend
shadows recede
